A historic 56-acre estate nestled along the Digdeguash Tidal River that flows into the Bay of Fundy.
Originally built as a farm in 1890, Dominion Hill boasts a captivating history. Cyrus Curtis acquired the estate in 1928. Cyrus left formal education behind at the age of nine and published his first newspaper at just 15. By the turn of the 20th century, he stood as one of America's most prominent publishers, having founded two of the leading magazines of that era: "The Saturday Evening Post" and the "Ladies Home Journal."
Following Cyrus, the estate came into the hands of General James Van Fleet, renowned for his unmatched military accomplishments, and one of the most decorated leaders in U.S. history. Van Fleet was referred to as "the greatest general the U.S. has ever seen" by U.S. President Harry Truman.
The Estate has since been restored and renovated to include over 20 cottages, suites, glamping sites, and an event barn.
