Hillary and Curtis first got introduced in May 2022, all thanks to a dating app. They quickly knew there was a connection and met five days later. After their first date, Curtis texted his best man within a few minutes of leaving and said, "mark my words, I will marry this girl." They’ve been inseparable ever since.

From their many adventures to their first home, to bringing home the best four-legged boy, Archie; they were never without laughs, love, and amazing memories created together.

One rainy day in Pictou, NS they were walking the beach in search of sea glass, one of their favourite activities. Curtis knew it was the perfect time and place. He asked Hillary to come look at something he found, and to her surprise, he turned around on one knee with a ring in hand and asked her to marry him. Hillary doesn't remember much after that, but one thing for certain... she said YES!
